Beth Eyre – Barbara (the Monkey)
Beth is an actor, voice artist, and producer. Beth is probably best known for her performance as Antigone Funn in the award-winning podcast sitcom Wooden Overcoats (Vulture’s 10 Best Podcasts of 2018), which released its critically-acclaimed third season this year, and for which Beth has been nominated for Best Actress in the 2018 Audio Verse Awards.
Rosie Fletcher – Barbara (voice)
Rosie Fletcher is a writer, broadcaster and stand-up comedian. A regular voice on Radio 4, her second series for The Film Programme, Rosemary vs Mankind, was broadcast throughout 2018. A former member of the sketch group Sad Faces and improv troupe, The Shambles, she appeared in the original cast of Crowley & Co.’s Ghost City. As a writer, Rosie was part of the award-winning team behind podcast sitcom’s Wooden Overcoats third series.
Ben Bruckshaw – Marcus
Ben trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. His recent credits include ‘Slaughterhouse’ at the Old Red Lion, ‘Moment of Grace’ at the Bloomsbury Festival, ‘Murder on the Terrace’ and ‘Northanger Abbey’ with Heartbreak Productions, and ‘Der Rosenkavalier’ at the Royal Opera House.
Kate Sketchley – Paula
Kate Sketchley is a Canadian/British actor and theatre-maker. She trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; recently, she appeared in The Lehman Trilogy at the National Theatre and performed as Caliban in The Tempest at The Brockley Jack, and she is currently developingUndermined – The Fatberg Musical with writer Tilly Llunken.
David K. Barnes – Writer
Writer David K. Barnes is best known as the creator & head writer of the critically acclaimed podcast sitcom Wooden Overcoats. As well as Monkey, his stage plays include Games of Love and Chance, Timothy and the Offie-nominated Birthday Suit.
